Join us for an unforgettable 3-day no-tolerance snowmobile ride in Northern Minnesota, February 18-20, 2027, and support Cody Buus’s legacy while making a difference for children and families affected by illness!

When the ride reaches full capacity, your name will be placed on a waiting list.

Join the Cody Buus Invitational Courage Snowmobile Ride and experience the breathtaking trails of Northern Minnesota while helping support the Northern Lights Foundation! Start your adventure Thursday morning with a breakfast buffet at Island Lake Inn in Duluth, MN, before setting off on a ride through beautiful scenery. Enjoy two lunch breaks, including stops at the VFW in Hoyt Lakes on Thursday and Grand Ely Lodge in Ely on Friday, and relax with two overnight stays at Fortune Bay Casino, where dinner is provided each night for riders and volunteers.

Cap off the journey with a celebration dinner, live auction, and check presentation to the Northern Lights Foundation. Riders and volunteers will enjoy a complimentary dinner. Register today, sell raffle tickets, and invite your friends for an unforgettable ride that supports a meaningful cause!

Registration Due By July 30, 2026

Register today before the ride is full! When the ride reaches full capacity, your name will be placed on a waiting list.

All riders must be at least 21 years old, provide valid proof of insurance, and commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 through fundraising, selling raffle tickets, or making a personal cash donation. This commitment helps us make a meaningful impact together, with every dollar raised going directly to the Northern Lights Foundation to support children and families affected by illness.

This ride is designed for experienced riders, covering long distances with average speeds of around 40 mph throughout the weekend. Please also be prepared for a two-night stay at Fortune Bay Casino in Tower, MN, and a celebration dinner on Saturday; guests are invited to the celebration for just $45. Please add all attendees to your registration form.

Your registration fee includes a two-night hotel stay, fuel, oil, and some meals. If you have any questions about the ride, registration, or fundraising, please contact us at admin@courageride.net.

Sell Raffle Tickets

If you’re planning to sell raffle tickets, we’ve made it easy for you! Tickets are available for rider pick-up at three convenient locations, ensuring you can grab them at a time and place that works best for you. Simply stop by to collect your tickets or call for a pickup, and start making a difference by supporting this important cause. Please contact admin@courageride.net with any questions.

Must be 18 years old to purchase a raffle ticket, or win a prize. Winners are responsible for applicable fees or taxes. Winner of the $3,000 prize is responsible for reporting and paying taxes. Need not be present to win.

Volunteer Information

Register to be a Courage Ride Volunteer! All volunteers must be at least 21 years old, have valid proof of insurance, and commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 through fundraising, selling raffle tickets, or making a personal cash donation. This ensures we make a meaningful impact together. Every dollar raised will be donated directly to the Northern Lights Foundation, which supports children and families affected by illness.
